How we verify stays
Pawrent uses an internal review: hosts complete a questionnaire and share evidence, and our team checks pet rules, transparency, and safety before the Verified pet-friendly or Excellence badge is shown.
Five rules we check
Every listing must meet all five criteria before it receives any badge on the PawRent Balkans platform.
1. Pets are truly welcome
Hosts must explicitly confirm they accept pets — with no hidden restrictions by species, breed, or weight.
2. No hidden fees
All pet-related fees must be clearly listed in the listing before booking. No charge may be added on arrival.
3. Space safety
We check whether the space is safe for pets — enclosed balcony, secure yard, absence of toxic plants or hazardous surfaces.
4. Listing transparency
Photos and description must accurately represent the space where pets stay. Misleading listings are automatically disqualified.
5. Extra amenities (for Excellence)
Stays that go the extra mile — water and food bowls, a mat, a yard, or a dedicated pet area — can earn the Excellence badge.
How the verification process works
Once a host publishes a listing, our team sends an internal questionnaire. The host fills it in and provides evidence — photos, description, pricing. The team reviews all materials and decides on badge assignment within 48 hours. Listings that don't pass verification remain visible, but without a badge.

A premium badge for stays that don't just accept pets, but give them an especially comfortable experience — equipped space, a yard, extra services.
